1 3-4 lb Rump Roast
onion powder
garlic salt
fresh ground pepper
1 TBS olive oil (optional)
When I'm in a hurry, I toss the meat into the crockpot, sprinkle generously with onion powder, garlic salt and fresh ground pepper. Fresh garlic is nice, as are fresh chopped onions, but I save those for a more savory pot roast (or basically when I have more time or want brown potatoes with pot roast.)
But if you have a few minutes, brown all sides of meat in a skillet with 1 TBS olive oil. Then add
seasonings into crockpot. Cook 4-5 hours on high or 8 on low. Gravy can be made with meat juices.
