2 lbs beef chuck steak or roast, cut into 1/4 inch strips
2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
1 large onion, cut into wedge slices
1 yellow or orange pepper, julienned
1 red pepper, julienned
1 green bell pepper, julienned
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 inch piece of ginger, grated
1-2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup soy sauce
Brown meat with garlic salt & pepper. When it begins to brown, add onions and garlic. Place in crockpot with remaining ingredients (except peppers.) Cook on low several hours. Add peppers about an hour before serving. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
